Big Block Chevy High Performance Gilmer Belt Drive Kit 396 427 454 BBC NEW 2253
This is a brand new Big Block Chevy (396 427 454) belt drive and pulley kit. It is designed for use with either a long or short style water pump up to a 5/8" shaft. This kit includes:
Belt
Billet aluminum water pump pulley
Billet aluminum crank pulley
Billet alternator pulley
The belt in this kit is a cogged 1.5" wide Gilmer style belt. This design prevents slippage of your V-belt and is great for use in high RPM applications. There is a 1:1 ratio on the water pump and crank pulleys. The crank pulley comes with a groove in the V-belt which can be used to run power steering. The alternator pulley is uniquely designed to keep the belt aligned. It is to be used in the factory alternator position, which is on the passenger side. This kit will not work with air conditioned equipped vehicles. Again, this belt drive and pulley kit is for a big block Chevy with either short or long water pump.
