    Description

    "American Military Engineers Award of merit to Colonel Carter Page, recipient of the Wheeler Medal for 1961".  The certificate comes with the original letter sent with it to Mrs. Carter Page.  The letter is dated June 28, 1962 and is from The Society of American Military Engineers.  The certificate measures approx. 9" x12", has a few small creases on the bottom corners, a small rip about 1/2" in length on the right border and is faded and discolored due to age and storage.  The letter measures approx. 9" x 6", has a small rip at the top right border and has light discoloration and markings due to age and storage.
