    Description

    A nice first regular air mail flight cover from Peace River, Alberta to Carcajou, Alberta. Franked with Canada Scott #C1, the 5¢ Allegory of Flight air mail stamp from 1928 which is tied to the cover by a Peace River, Alberta postmark dated December 8, 1930. Apparently there was a problem with the original flight and another Peace River, Alberta postmark was added dated January 31, 1931. There is a hand stamped cachet depicting a prairie farmland. On the reverse is a Carcajou, Alberta postmark dated January 31, 1931. This cover measures 152mm x 89mm. See scans for condition.
